Ring around the electrode?!

Isn't it fun?? I used to play ring around the rosie instead. I'm gonna be stuck in my room for six days so I'll probably be bloggin yots. List of things to do over "break"

1) Ten 100 word "journals"- really just responses to the reading (1000 words)
2) 4 activity writeups- two evaluations (as many words as it takes)
3) Final for ECE210- 3 essay questions 250 words each (750 words)
4)Fix Lesson Plan writeups for ECE 202 (curriculum) (as many words as it takes)
5) Cut out materials and prepare playlist for Lesson Plan (ECE202)
6) Work on Christmas Cards

Will I go crazy- indeed I will. If I'm not already...21 days till Disneyland. I miss Chloe.

Never Underestimate the power of 10 toddlers

I finished my activity assignment write ups and today I had to use two of them in the classroom. Leave it to me to pick the two messiest things possible. The first activity was wet chalk (on paper- too cold to go outside). The second was paint. I started out with 8 kids, then two more came in. CHAOS!!!!!! lotsa mixing of paint and painting themselves and cleanup was a nightmare. All I can say is WHEW! Now I have to do the evaluation. And clean house. And find the other half of my brain. I can't wait until Thanksgiving break when I can do MORE work. I love my job. Thank God for Celtic Woman.

Seriously Now

Ok so I'm putting off writing my Activity Plans (just a fancy name for lesson plans which are boring) so what? Doing the Messiah is like being pecked to death by a duck. Everyone in choir thinks somethings wrong because I'm so quiet. I'm really honestly just tired. Its nearing the end of the semester. I'll spend Thanksgiving break in my room doing homework. Its ok though because then its off to Disneyland!

I absolutely loved the Celtic Woman concert. Thanks to my Fairy Godmother Saint Dwight for getting me there. Thanks also to Glenn and anyone else who mentioned me to Chloe. Apparently Chloe volunteered to do the M&G because she knew I would be there. The concert was so unreal. During the first song I felt like I was in heaven. The rest of the concert I was just trying to take every detail in so I could remember. When Chloe skipped around the stage I laughed out loud. I can hardly describe the joy I felt in my heart during the whole concert. I also cried during "When You Believe"- Chloe's voice is so beautiful. I wish I could have frozen that moment in time or experienced it over and over again.
